So happy to see my tax monies used for the wonderful education process we have. These idiots are all morons that spew whatever just entered their head without doing any amount of research on it.

the Trib said this so it must be true.

Are you telling me the Word of the Trib is less than infallible? How dare you try to wake me from my dullard existence and try to make me think... you bastard!

Here is my reply.

"Unless you're staying in SL County hotels or motels, you wouldn't be paying this tax! Why is this so hard for some people to grasp?! Are you people really this ill informed?! I've lived in SL county for 28 years and never stayed a night in a SL county hotel or motel and I don't really ever plan on doing so. No one I know that lives in Salt Lake County has ever spent a night in a SL County hotel or motel. I assume most of you are in the same boat. If you're not paying the tax then why the public backlash? If anyone should be deciding what to do with the funds in question it should be the tourists that are paying the taxes. Should we give them all ballots to complete at checkout of their hotels?! Come on, give me a break! Get informed on the topic before you sound like a parrot repeating the same ill-informed verbiage! GREAT!!! I submitted 3 replies and only on the third one did it ask me to sign up for an account! I'm guessing that all of those other comments were ignored! That sucks!

Well Salt Lake tried to help them out but they want Sandy. I think the Fairgrounds would have been great.Would have helped that area out, All I Ask is that they change the name to Sandy Real if they go there.
My reply:
There is a whole world of people outside the Salt Lake Valley and not one of them believes Sandy is a city unto itself. Salt Lake is Salt Lake from Herriman to Federal Heights. If you are from Snady and you visit Paris, do you tell people you are from Sandy, Utah? I'm from Cottonwood Heights and I'm Salt Lake 'til I die!
