Maybe Brenes will see action for the Ticos later this year if this result holds up?

A tie would be ideal. But this is not a bad result for the US.

This way, Marlboro Man Lavolpe keeps his job & former Jason Kreis teammate Hugo Sanchez won't take over when the US visits the Azteca. Lavolpe is 0-1-1 against the US.
