How does McClaren get the job when he can't bet 'Boro to play consistently? Yes they've won 3 stellar UEFA cup legs and come from behind in all three, but his club has underperformed all year.

I agree. McClaren has had plenty of money to spend at Boro. Granted they're no Chelsea but compared to Bolton, Charlton and some others they have plenty of money and have spent it on some big names. I don't understand why he's got the job over some other canidates. But then again, I thought England were overly critical of Sven.

As Deuce said, he'll fit right in.
