It's like Cal State Fullerton football!
(Cal State Fullerton used to have 3 home football games per year, because they made more money in road guarantees and renting their stadium out to high school football and the LA Salsa.) If I am reading this correctly, the WPSL Utah Spiders have 2 home games this year. In which they will probably outscore RSL in its home games. But that's off topic. If the Utah Spiders still exist (which is hard to tell from their web site), Uncle Dave could pledge to let them play in his stadium. I'd be up for a Double Header. With a deal like this in place, maybe Foudy, Chastain or someone like that could help lobby for a deal. "If you don't let us have some money for land for a stadium, you must hate women's athletics" is pretty far from being the most heinous thing ever to be said during a quest for a stadium subsidy. | |||||
