There's something ridiculous about this whole leak thing. Does anyone who knows anything about MLS not know that stadium ownership/operation by league teams is the key to turning a profit? Maybe the leaker is hoping to play off ignorance. I don't know.
What I do know is that nothing that has now been published is anything close to a surprise. Maybe RSL's insistence that the information is proprietary made someone think there was something the club was trying to hide in the information. This is tiresome. Just another bump on the road to getting our stadium built. __________________ Easy to be hard; hard to be smart. --Old Gunny Last edited by Rover : 04-29-2006 at 11:11 AM. | |||||

Yes, that's what they've said, but that's not what I was referring to. I'm saying that in the P.R. battle over the stadium, whoever leaked this information was likely hoping that council or public opinion could be swayed by the "RSL losing money" angle, when anyone who knows the business model of MLS would say "of course--that's why we need a stadium." __________________
