Tune in to see if BYU can make it 4 wins out of 4.

This is a nobrainer for me. I'd rather see Coventry City than VIrginia Beach.

It will be a tremendous hardship for me to stumble all the way across campus to the game, but I will be at RES tomorrow night.

Arts & Crafts Club meeting in the parking lot beforehand.

Coventry's Website has updates on their tour through the USA. There are a couple articles (includes some pictures) already posted about their trip to Provo.

This game is cool for the BYU Cougar soccer program.

Coventry won 3-0, all goals in the second half. Wholesale substitutions for both teams around minute 60 (after first goal). Last goal came in the last minute of stoppage time as an own goal by the BYU keeper who almost saved it, but it slipped out of his hands and in (if I recall).

Coventry seemed to be playing a very easy-going, relaxed game. Nobody looked to be exerting too much pressure or willing to risk an injury in a game like this. BYU held their own, which was quite an accomplishment, but you'd be kidding yourself to say they dominated at any point. I imagine that Coventry coudl have really taken them to the cleaners if they had wanted to.

The Coventry players appeared gracious, signing autographs and smiling with fans after the game. A good crowd showed up, but not a sell-out from what I heard, probably due to the rainy weather.

Oh yeah, and the BYU players looked like 12-yr-old midgets next to the Coventry players.
