They had a draw this weekend and dropped to third in La Liga.

Let's keep this thread going so we can see what's happening with our hopeful friendly in August.

Real Madrid remain two points behind Valencia as both teams won today.

I would love to see Real Madrid play Real Salt Lake in August, but I'll bet money at this point that they would only send their youth team and require that in all marketing materials that the Real Madrid youth team be clearly identified as such.

On Tuesday during a press conference in Boston, MLS Commissioner Don Garber said that another "major Spanish side" (besides the already scheduled Barcelona) will be coming to the USA later this summer to play pre-season matches. We could know the identity of that team next week.

Madrid won again today. But so did Valencia, so that still leaves Madrid 2 points behind.

I missed the game, anyone know why Iker got a red?

2 yellows = red.

I think they will send their real team. It's part of a trend of major clubs playing in the U.S. to boost soccer's profile.

David Beckham could double his wealth if soccer took off in U.S. Why would he stay home?
