Last year we were told by Pastorino that we would never, ever have cheerleaders so I don't think you need to worry about that.

The mascot was bound to happen even though I really couldn't care either way about that.

Mascot? I am not a fan of us having a mascot. If it is a real lion that would be cool. Otherwise...I am against a mascot. And yes I know I don't have any say in our impending mascot. Cheerleaders would be much worse! We absolutely can't have cheerleaders!

Mascot is fine with me. No harm done, and they entertain the kids.

Cheerleaders? We've seen this thread before.

No place for cheerleaders in soccer. WE (the fans) are the cheerleaders, or yell leaders as they say at A&M.

As Hiba says, the FO has been clear that cheerleaders are not planned for the club.

My vote for mascot name is the "Real big steaming pile of rat dung." Less Disney...more soccer

Our new chant when the mascot comes to E38.

So they're going to spend a bunch of money on a dorky suit, a guy to go in it, and prize money to name the guy in the dorky suit, but they didn't want to pay Samba Gringa again this year?

This may be Spam from when we discussed this before, but if LeGrand (Lavar? Lavere?) The Lion helps even one guy get a Kitchen Pass; then I salute his nylon mane.

A Wiggles concert audience has an older average age than an RSL crowd.

KC, help me out here. Don't most Mexican league clubs have mascots now? And some of them are closing in on being 100 years old. (The clubs, not the mascots.)

Atlante even hired one of the pantomime horses from the Monty Python routine. So they did not have to fight to the death after all.
