2006 MLS rookie class ready to make waves

"Mehdi Ballouchy — If you don't know the Moroccan boy's name by now, learn it. Put it on a flashcard, write it on your hand, do whatever you need to do, just learn it. The Santa Clara standout is perhaps the most ready of any rookie to make an immediate impact. His agility and speed coupled with his poise and technical superiority makes him a tough opponent. Getting this guy in a Real Salt Lake jersey makes John Ellinger look like the smartest thing to hit Salt Lake since Jeopardy champ Ken Jennings."

Two words in the same sentence I haven't seen together for a while around these parts - Ellinger and smart. I'm still on E's side.

Well, hopefully RSL will get a dozen wins this year and we'll hear it more often.
