What is this guy smoking? :eyebrow:

Where is our resident troll? He'll like this... 🤓

Strong and passionate can apply to just 13 people. 🙂

Does this guy know what he is talking about?

  • With Commissioner Don Garber at the helm, Major League Soccer returns to the field for its 10th season of existence.
I thought it was the 11th season. Or did I misinterpret all that hoopla last year?
  • After marching to its second consecutive MLS Cup title, the Los Angeles Galaxy has automatically become the team to beat.
I thought that DC won the Cup the prior season. Maybe he's using a different definition of consecutive than I am.

And here is the real kicker that makes me wonder what he was smoking.
  • Colorado's strong and passionate fan base won't hurt the team's '06 campaign either.

Hell I couldn't even read that without rolling my eyes at it. While I think it's weak that all you guys can seem to complain about is our fan base (Guess you can't say much about the way FSL played) I wouldn't go anywhere close to "strong fan base" to describe the Rapids fans. We are passionate about the Rapids though.

The year of the crapid?!?!

Quick... who was the 10 year vet that retired?

Wouldn't it be neat if writer included the fact that it's Preki.

Passionate fan base! Has this guy EVER been to a crapid game? I've been to two. More than the typical Denverite.

I'm reading that article and thinking: "an enthusiastic writer". And the longer I read I'm thinking, "off-base, wrong, well maybe". Then I get to the year of the crapid thing! I'm trying to make sence of this but I'm afraid that I'm speechless and babbling like a supportive crapid fan.

obtw, I guess Chivas doesn't exist.
