I volunteered at Larry Miller's racetrack last year and he gave me a few tickets to Jazz games. I only went to one and got there at halftime. After standing in E32 for most of every game I went to at Rice-Eccles, the Delta Center atmosphere was just...um...boring. :slobber: Boring like a morgue without any cadavers. Boring like a golf pregame show. Boring like a testimony meeting without testimony bingo. hehehehe

Anyways, it sucked. Hardcore suckage. I hated it. It seems like people don't really care about many things they used to care about. Apathy taking over America? Ah, why should I care?

Props to Seattle Seahawks fans for putting forth a decent effort at the home games. Can anyone else give examples of rabid fanaticism in the American "Big Three"? (MLB, NFL, NBA) I sure can't. Nice comments by Lalas. He's a rather outspoken guy, isn't he...

I had the same experience this year with Utah pointy ball. It's just not the same without my cowbell.

the Blitz, as fun as that may look, I look at the face painters and laugh at them because they'll yell when the team is kicking off and then they'll sit down.

Do I regret this? No. I believe his tissue has made me stronger. I now have the strength of a grown man and a little baby.

Red Sox and Yankees fans at least have the profanity part down right.

Philadelphia Eagles' fans once booed Santa Claus, so they're off to a good start.

Ute gridiron fans are a mixed bag. Some sections are fairly quiet, while other sections fairly active. The North End Zone really gets rocking sometimes. I sit in E33 (right on the goal line) and our area is fairly involved, but nothing like the RSL support sections.

His point is the corporate, humdrum, 3 hour commercial that the NBA, NFL, MLB have become. He's on our side. Don't knock him. Write him.
