When my mother was pregnant with me they did an ultrasound and found she was having twins. When they did another ultrasound a few weeks later they discovered that I had reabsorbed the other fetus. Do I regret this? No. I believe his tissue has made me stronger. I now have the strength of a grown man and a little baby.

The US looked acceptable in the first half. They had a few good spurts of possession. The second half they didn't look nearly as good. We had a few bursts and nice runs. My take is that Convey looked very good. Mastroeni did his job well. Cherundolo played quite well although he got caught fouling a few too many times in bad spots I felt. Eddie Johnson was better than average, but not terrific. Everyone else was not really worthy of mentioning in my mind.

My biggest concern is that we completely fell apart again near the end of a game (remember Japan). I hope that with our regulars we can maintain the concentration required to finish games.

Well we played well... they had their starters on the pitch cos they were really concerned.

We had our second string(ie reserves) team on the pitch because only German teams plus Reading let any US players go for this game. Also we were out Donovan, Pope and Dempsey... that really hurt considering the loss of the majority of our european contingent.

I really wish we could have had a full strength squad on the pitch... That would have been a completely different match!

Convey looked amazing.
