The Pope could've played striker and done worse. LA's midfield wasn't getting the job done.
I can see Chivas going for O'Brien. Looking at their roster again they very well may have the cap room. I'm still thinking something else will happen. NY unloading Sechoix [sic] so soon made me wonder what was going on there. Afterall, they just brought him in. Maybe they didn't like what they saw. Maybe they wanted to rebuild with O'Rouke around but I'm not sold on that with all their talk of getting things done and winning this year. I'm assuming Sechoix [sic] is making a lot of money, especially when compared to O'Rourke. I wouldn't be suprised if NY has some back room agreements in place so when JOB signs with the league, they'll trade their lil' brat Guevara to Chivas for JOB. __________________

O'Brien signs today, La Opinion says.
The article says that they have to clear salary cap space for him. And for his rehab staff. Did I say that?

But will he get traded after he signs?

So what's our Allocation situation? Do we have a You Suck Allocation coming up? Or did we trade it for Talley, Garlick & Klein? Maybe that's why no one saw Watson? The Goats supposedly have to clear some salary cap for John O'Bangedup and at least one roster spot. Maybe we are getting some Goats and Watson is part of the deal?

![]() This has got to be one of the worse weeks ever. Opening weekend and RSL gets spanked then my fav Yank Abroad signs with our jailers. Suck. Well at least we'll be able to see him more often on TV, right? 🙁

Is there some sort of anti-RSL conspiracy. My old man has always been convinced that the rest of america or the world (whichever might apply at the time) hates SLC/Utah and will do whatever they can to screw us. With the national team and international additions that Chivas has gotten compared to RSL's Im beginining to think he's right.
Claudio Suarez, Palencia, that jerk who scored sunday, (I cant remember hisname right now) vs. Cunningham (good addition) Klein...on his way down. Not as much a waste as Cleetus, but not up to much. will definitely not make theWC team. Unless RSL gets Beckham when Madrid has their clearout this summer, Im convinced they are out to get us (whoever they are).

Can't see an anti-RSL conspiracy. Most people outside Utah hardly know it exists. Mostly what I see is ignorant indifference.
However, too many sweetheart deals have been made over the years to completely dismiss a pro-LA/NY slant to the league. O'Brien to cheetos falls inot that category. __________________
