I don't know the law as it pertains to that but I don't see why you can't buy a bunch of sets for the same car... obviously the most recent set will have to be on the car and you can keep the other sets for games and eBay(there is a whole other world of License plate collectors out there... Just a thought!

if they do them... our president should have dibs on "Loyal" (you can only put 5 letters on specialty plates)... and I am putting in for the plate that reads "Real" and a second set that reads "RSL_1"

I checked with the DMV and they said in order to get a "Special Group" license plate for RSL, someone from the FO needs to speak with their legislator and start the process there. With all the colleges having one, I don't think it would be too much of a stretch to get one?? You can go here to see what is available Personalized License Plate.
