RSL & Crew tie in Louisiana

Did someone already post a link to this? Or are we sick of the preseason and no one cares about exhibition games any more?

Kreis is still not ready to go.

Hmm. I wonder if we'll see much of the King of Goals this season. I thought everyone had said he'd definitely be ready by the beginning of the 2006 season, but the likelihood of that seems to be dropping week-by-week.

Well, it is only about 6 months out. And game situations do seem to get players to try that bit harder. So I can see why they're easing him into it. I'm not sure how much of the "he'll be back for the new season" stuff isn't the usual PR stuff.

Sure, sure, but some of us are still naive enough to believe the PR hype!

Dang.

Attiba sure is getting a lot of playing time with the first team - does this mean we can plan on him starting until Kreis is ready to come back? Nice to see some height up front!

I think, and sincerely hope, that they are simply being very cautious with a very valuable player. I would like to see him recover completely and be able to play full out. I think that is what is happening. They are giving him all the time they can, to prepare for the coming season.

...I hope.

I hope you're right. I rememeber when in high school having surgery on my knee in feb and trying to play in may. It was like the first or second game of the summer and I reinjured and was out for a couple months again. And I would've been about 1/2 the age Kries. I hope your right that they're just being cautious to give it plenty of time to gain some strength.
