Arsenal 0 - 0 Real Madrid Arsenal go through on aggregate 1-0 and will carry England's hope of Euro glory.

Lyon 4 - 0 PSV Eindhoven Lyon go through on aggregate 5-0 so DaMarcus Beasley's Champions League run is over. He didn't start this game, but did come in during the 58th minute.

Liverpool 0 - 2 Benfica Benfica goes through on aggregate 3-0. Liverpool was aweful. Liverpool had 26 shots (7 on goal) and Benfica only had 7 shots (3 on goal).

So far 7 teams have punched their tickets to the quarter-finals: AC Milan, Juventus, Villarreal, Arsenal, Lyon, Barcelona and Benfica.

So Arsenal will be the EPL's lone representative in the final 8. Serie A could have three of the final 8.

The Arsenal - Real Madrid game even though it ended 0-0 was a great game. Very entertaining. The other ones yesterday were pretty much over after the first goal.

Inter just has to take care of business at home (scored twice on the road leg, if I remember right 2-2) and Serie A will have 3 teams as you said. Impressive work by the Italian sides, even though Juve keeps just barely squeeking through.

Ya, Juve was lucky. I was pullin' for Werder not only cuz of my dislike for the Juventus but that it's nice to see some of the smaller clubs advance.

Speaking of Itlay , aren't Roma and Boro paired up to play each other in the UEFA Cup next?
