🙁 Sad Day for Forest Fans! The long rumored sale of Andy Reid has become official and not only have they sold Reid but they have let Micheal Dawson go as well.
Both Forest players will be moving to Tottenham Hotspur for a reported 8 million pounds... Forest have been in the relegation zone for the most part of the 2005 season... This season has claimed Manager Joe Kinnear as well... I never thought Forest would be in the 1st division very long after relegation in 1998 but I have been proven wrong as they have been there for 7 seasons and this latest season looks to make it an even longer climb back into the top flight! 🙁 Last edited by Deuce : 01-31-2005 at 12:36 PM.

The slow sinking of the Forest club into the 2nd division has begun...
This is the traditional abandoning ship that happens whenever a club has accepted that it will be relegated! All the top dollar players are sold off to save money and give the top notch players a chance to further their careers in a higher league... which means they won't be able afford to keep the salary of the higher division so instead of loosing them on free transfers that will inevitably happen when there contracts expire they sell them off to the highest bidder to try to salvage the contract money as well as a transfer fee... The feeding frenzy will continue until there is no one left of note and Forest will go down and it will be some years before it rises again... if at all... the club was on the verge of bankruptcy a few years back and will probably be faced again with the threat of folding shortly after relegation... The chain of events has now been set into motion... Only a super-human, heroic effort of the remaining players will stop the ship from sinking! Sad..... Sad........ Sad news indeed!

I used to talk to Michael Dawson online a few years ago... too bad I'm not in touch with him anymore, or I'd give him an earful for signing for Sp*rs.

Sorry Deuce! I am not a Forest fan but I know it sucks when your team starts failing. You have my sympathies!
