Actually, I believe RSL's lone goal was a Own Goal...
Sounds not so good.

I believe you are right.

I also heard there was a short second game in which we won.

One of my friends (not the ref) who did attend emailed me this:

Thanks for the heads up! I thoroughly enjoyed the game.
Viborg looked good! Would be nice to have a team of that caliber around here.

RSL needs a lot of work
They could be a lot better they didn't continuously collapse the defense right in front of the goal a leave the goalie to fend for himself with all the screens.

I brought my camera but didn't take any pictures, Eddie Rodger was there Ray Hudson too, and many others

Final notes:
1. There were no red cards in the game. There were four yellow cards:

a. Nelson Akwari RSL Unsporting Behavior-Tactical Foul 12th minute
b. Douglas Sequeira RSL Unsporting Behavior-Bringing the Game into Disrepute 28th minute
c. Jose Mota #9 Viborg Unsporting Behavior-Bringing the game into Disrepute 28th minute
d. Paul Obiefule #11 Viborg-Unsporting Behavior-Reckless Tackle 57th minute

2. Sequeira was left off the RSL match reports. He was a starter and played the entire match.

3. Viborg was a very classy team, very profesional. They completely dominated the first half of the match and were justified to be leading 2-0. In the second half, they sat back and sucked up what pressure Salt Lake threw at them. Their goalkeeper made two great saves, but apart from that and the goal, Real did not do much even with more possession. When Salt Lake got with 25 yards of goal, Viborg picked up their intensity and most of the time easily destroyed the buildup usually taking possession of the ball in the process.

4. The 45 extra minutes played was at the behest of Viborg. It was basicly a reserve match that Salt Lake won 2-1.

Attiba played 76 minutes? I wonder if coach is trying to see if he can go the full 90 - good chance of making the final cuts.
