I am taking the days off work that the US are playing. Just like I did in England last world cup. It kinda sucked cos England and USA played the same day so it was harder to pull that off.

If I was still in England i would have been in Gernmany for it. What was I thinking? Oh Well!

I will be in South Africa in 2010 for sure.

Praise be to the almighty Tivo.

Last World Cup, I was unemployed (shocker) and could sit around watching games at like 5 am and then sleep all day... stupid jobbishness...

Very nice. Us employed folks were up before 4am to watch the games and then go in to work. It wasn't as nice as an evening game but it didn't work out too bad. Better at 4am when I can get in a game before work than something at 2pm where I'd be tempted to tape it and then about 2:24pm break down and check the score online.

Can you believe ABC will show three games back to back on Sunday June 18th? Isn't there something in the Book of Revelations about that?

The end draweth near.

Is that Father's Day? I hope so because then I can sit around all day and have everyone bring me food and drink while I watch all the games. 😁

Does anyone know if any places in the SLC area are planning on showing the games. I'm sure some places will have them since they've got their ESPN2 TVs going. But I'm wondering if any places like Iggy's, Skybox, whomever else may have some official watching parties.

I think Fiddler's Elbow showed a lot of games during the 2002 World Cup...
