Party?????????

Does anyone want to share with us the members of this site and loyalist members about a party on February 10th???? Maybe, just maybe....we would like to feel apart of the group? I know there are people out there like me who are dying to see soccer and dont have satellite. To tell you the truth since I signed up to be a part of the Loyalists I have felt like I have to fight for any information or to be included in anything you do. I had to fight for a month just to get my tshirt. I have never received an email about any activities and I have always felt unincluded. What ever happened to that meeting we were going to have to vote for the Loyalist board members? Did it happen without any of us knowing about it? It is yet to happen? How would we have any idea? I know I am not the only one who feels this way as I have talked with other members who feel the same way. I honestly am having second thoughts about even renewing my membership this year. Perhaps someone would like to update ALL of us LOYALISTS and fans in general what might be happening with all of this.... And for those of you who would like to be included in the party here is the information. Thanks to the RCB for posting it THREE WEEKS AGO and thanks to someone fun for pointing it out to me or else I would have been really POed.

2/10 US Viewing Party/Loyalist-RCB-MLS Celebration
Club Karamba
1051 E. 2100 S.
Salt Lake City, UT 84106

Please alert your memberships of this event. Party will start 60 minutes prior to kickoff. Budweiser and Pepsi products will be provided. Club Karamba has a big screen and separate area for us.

I would recommend that you do this as a membership drive as well and have everyone invite one person who would consider becoming RCB or Loyalists. RSL will be signing people up for 2006 season passes. Possible appearance by Dave Checketts.

With a full year of experience behind us, we have learned some lessons to make the coming season even better. We expect to unveil our new website this week.

The information provided by the other source may not prove to be correct. The planning of the party has been an ongoing negociation to provide the best event possible for all.

I can understand second thoughts about renewing Loyalist membership. Believe me the team is feeling the heat and hearing similar things from season ticket holders about the success of last year too. We have been working over the winter to make The Loyalists a better organization.

Of the complaints I have heard about not receiving the newsletters, VERY few initiated contact to ensure we had an email address that they actually use.

So what are the details of the party? When they are final they will be announced. It will coincide with the US v. Japan match on Feb 10.

Be sure to check theloyalists.com later this week. It will be our new official mode of communication for all things Loyalist. This site is for fun discussion of Real Salt Lake and soccer in general and uses screen names. theloyalists.com will be clear and official.

If you'd like to hear it though the enewsletter send an email to . Be sure to include your real name. We do not track screen names on our membership rolls.

The information that was posted here, http://www.cavaliersbrigade.com/brigade/viewtopic.php?t=1530 was received directly from Chris Keeney at the FO. If the event changes between now and the 10th, that update will be available as well on the same thread.

Do I regret this? No. I believe his tissue has made me stronger. I now have the strength of a grown man and a little baby.
