Chelsea Reveal Record Losses £140m Let's see now. IIRC Kenyon 2 years ago was saying Chelsea's goal was to be profitiable in five years. So they now have 3 years to do that. And that after going the opposite direction. Which is why they're now saying they'll break even by 2010. Nice, how many more times will they move it back?
I hope the Chelsea fans enjoy the ride while it lasts cuz when Roman pulls the plug, they're going to end up in League Two. The club is in horrible financial shape outside of having Roman's pocketbook. They won't do well when that goes away. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=356495&cc=5901 Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon insisted the club remain on course to break even by 2010 after posting record pre-tax losses of £140million. __________________
