I hope we can convince him to play for the US. I don't know how to do it but we need the kid.

Rumor on Fox Soccer Channel is that he only has interest in playing for Italy. I'm not sure how this works seeing as he was born and raised in New Jersey, but thats what they say....

IIRC he's got the duel passports and could go either way. The problem he'll find is that as talented as the kid is he may have to play in Italy to make the team. I'm not sure how much that's changed for Italian players recently.

Sounds to me he either plays for US or doesnt play at all. But then he probably has the next world cup to think about also. I say PLAY FOR US....

I agree and I hope that he does in the end. It'll be interesting to see what the next USA coach does in regards to him.
