Finally, some news! I, for one, think they made the right decision. The Blitzz were awesome and did a lot for soccer in Utah, but it just wouldn't make sense to have to compete w/ RSL for attention!

I made that conclusion when I heard Chad was officially a "suit" in the RSL front office.

I sure hope that Chris & Stacy land on their feet.

Hopefully, RSL will put them on the payroll.

Or, if they are looking to move to a place with less entertaining weather; everybody on the Riot Squad wants to lynch Doug Hamilton and Steve Sampson so the Galaxy may have a couple of positions open............

I also wish Chris and Stacy all the best. I don't think we would have RSL, if it hadn't been for them. It would have been a lot easier to simply let the BLiTZZ die after Mr. Nichols pulled out.

Unfortunately I only made it to the season opener last season.
I wish I could have made it to more games but work prevented it.

I see they won the league championship, at least you can say they went out while they were the BEST!

Does anyone have any jerseys with the zions bank sponsor on the front?
I would very much like to get my hands on one of those to go with the ball and water bottle I got at the season opener!

any one got one they want to part with/sell?
Thanks,
Deuce

Did someone post on one of the other threads that Chris, Stacy & Fito were at the draft party, wearing RSL pins?

After I went back to work (I obviously don't have my priorities straight), were there any announcements about them?

Yes, I noticed Chris at least sitting at the table to the left of us (to the left of that big post.) They were in attendance at Wednesday's announcement as well. No hard feelings I guess. Jim Umber reported a rumor that Stacy at least is involved with the new team somehow.

Maybe this goes on the "Where Are They Now?" thread.

But on 54th South, a little west of 56th West; there's a vacant lot with a sign on it saying that Dell Nicholls is one of the contacts.
