Pope!

It's interesting that Eddie Pope isn't even mentioned in that article.....

Please don't go Eddie!

Berhalter, a near-lock? I think he's older and Pope and not a guaranteed starter on his club.

A healthy Eddie Johnson would be a lock, so I would move him up to Nearly A Lock.

No Cunningham either.

Liked the use of of the proper name as a verb in this sentence from the article:

"Will be counted on to Borgetti Jan Koller on June 12th." (speaking of Onyewu)

A stinker vs. Canada and an annexation of Norway... Who hurt and helped their cause?

MOVING UP THE LADDER

Chris Klein - I was wondering what took Bruce so long to bring him back. His physical tools and cross/shot skills set should worry Ralston and Quaranta, but no right back please. (GS)

Eddie Pope - It wasn't exactly the Steady Ed of old, but he seems to be getting everything back in order. Stay tuned. (GS)

As far was Taylor and Josh go, I'd go with Josh. He's got the experience and has shown he can get it done in big games. Sure, Taylor can score goals against Norway's C-team but he hasn't always looked convincing. I'd be afraid that he'd come in as a sub against Ghana and wet himself the first time Kuffor came in on a hard tackle.

Your joking right? Twellman, who does not have butt implants, is a great player and deserved the MVP aware last year. He plays both ways, to his credit and works for the ball. He also doesn't wait around and is constantly harrassing the defense and getting ready for the junk goal.

Twellman will make, at the expense of possible Wolff and a unhealthy EJ.
