So Colorado gets one of my favorite players.

And RSL is paying for his salary.

And RSL is giving up next year's Marvell Wynn (spelling??). Great.

Or next year's Seth Stammler, one of the two.

I would be willing to bet that the claim that RSL is picking up the tab for Mathis is false based on the new information. The FO will not discuss salaries so all you are hearing in respect to RSL picking up part of Mathis' salary is speculation based on speculation.

With this new information it is extremely unlikely that RSL is, in fact, picking up any of his salary. They were not that desperate to dump Mathis.

The only good thing coming out of this is us getting Hammie.. (okay, sorry, couldn't resist).. Jeff Cunningham, I mean. He will be a lot of fun on the team and might actually perform ON the field, too. Who knows?

Chris Carrieri at least had some serious entertainment value though, I mean, the earrings? The hair?

I need chocolate
Maybe they'll only go to Mexican restaurants. Just kidding. I'm not racist - just like to pick on the Chivas players a bit. Now I've got to support two of them. :signcheer

I think you missed my AND comment.
If RSL is trading a top draft pick AND paying another team's player 300k, thats pretty nasty trade. Talk about eating it!

I guess we should just have faith in RSL's FO and Uncle Dave's checkbook.
