Of course, I was just making an observation. Chivas and MLS can schedule whatever whenever.

I'd love to hear the stats on % of RSL fans who are mormon...do you have them or are you speculating

Does HDC do back2back games alot?

Is it me, or is it odd that RSL is starting their 2006 season on a Sunday, during Conference and away? Doesn't that put possible attendance/tv ratings in jeopardy?
the HDC did it quite a bit last year. That's why there were a lot of Sunday Matches at the HDC.

Every Sunday match was preceded by a Saturday match by the other "home" team.

Enough that it's generally a very serious consideration as far as sports scheduling in Utah. Probably on par with the percentage of LDS in the state (60 percent-ish?)

In this case, however (road game in LA), I don't think it's going to be a big difference maker.

Metros to open at D.C. in 2006

Freddy Adu's first game of the 2006 season will more than like take place on April 2 when the MetroStars visit D.C. United. As for what team Adu will be on, that remains to be seen.

The MetroStars' first three games of the season will be home openers, one of their own and two on the road. They open at RFK Stadium against D.C. on April 2, then they will play host to New England at Giants Stadium on April 8. The MetroStars will then travel to Utah to play Real Salt Lake on April 15.

Good catch!
:dancing:

Anyone for a trip to the Spiral Jetty on the 14th? It seemed to work for winning last time around. 🙂

I guess I just couldn't force myself to listen to Al "Homer" Hopkins, Max "Landon is a god" Bretos or Christian "I Can't Speak Spanish" Miles on BOTH Saturday and Sunday.

I wonder if David Dir and Bill Riley will be doing the RSL away matches again?

Thanks for the link Arelius!

I would prefer Bill Riley and Ron Hudson.
