What a beauty! Are they the ones that used to play in a baseball stadium?

I wish Rochester could get some real money behind them. I know they are a smaller market, but they have the best ratio of population to soccer attendance in the USA.
All of my friends from that area are into soccer, all of them.

Ya, Rochester has everything in place except of the backer. I was hoping AEG would use some of the cash from selling off some teams to plop a franchise in there. They've got the fans, they've got the SSS, and RSL's shown a small market can work.

And I'm pretty sure Portland Timbers still play in a baseball stadium.

Word circulating at MLS Cup was that MLS has told AEG/Hunt that they need to get down to 1 team each, so don't expect any expansion money coming from them. This is probably also the reason that SJ and KC are on the do or die list right now.

You must have forgot the weather in Utah.
Rochester is worse. Right off of Lake Erie.
I believe they plan on using it for HS football as well.

well hopefully they don't put any football lines on there that can't come off easily! I do remember that it was super hot in Utah, and that the fieldturf was ridiculously hot under the players' feet... so I don't think fieldturf is a cure-all as far as weather is concerned. For a SSS I am surprised they chose to use it, usually it's only american football teams that use it, if I remember right?
