Just released by MLS:

"At the recent MLS Board of Governors meeting in Frisco, Texas, the Anschutz Entertainment Group was granted approval by the Board to move the San Jose Earthquakes to a number of potential cities, including Houston, Texas.

"In order to ensure that the team will have the appropriate time to prepare for the 2006 season, a final decision on the location of the team will be reached within the next 30 days."

"Thanks for deleting my post SoccerPrime. You're a super neat guy and nobody I know thinks you're a 2-bit loser who thinks that being a moderator on a soccer board is some sort of accomplishment."

And discussion JasonMa's rectum is probably not best done on a public board.

While I was driving down the freeway the other day, (going a little faster than I should have been) passed under a overpass only to see a "boy in blue" on the other side with a radar gun laying in wait. The cop pulled me over, walked up to the car, and with that classic patronising smirk, asked:

"Runway too short?"

To which I replied, "I'm late for work."

To which he asked, "What do you do?"

"I'm a rectum stretcher," I responded.

The cop was surprised and confused. "A what ? A rectum stretcher ?? And just what does a rectum stretcher do?"

"Well," I said, "I start by inserting one finger, then I work my way up to two fingers, then three, then four, then with my whole hand in, I work side to side until I can get both hands in, and then I slowly but surely stretch the hole, until it's about 6 feet."

Then the copper asked questioningly and cautiously, "And just what do you do with a six-foot arsehole ?"

To which I politely replied "You give him a radar gun and park him behind a bridge..."

You may think you've heard talk about an MLS team coming to town. And you have -- back in 2003. But, this time Mayor Bill LaFortune says it's different. The talks with potential investors are a lot more serious.

:newyear: A very nice Christmas present indeed!!

Tulsa and OKC did have a good rivalry going for a new MLS team back in 2002-03.
