Fan makes a cool million

Came across this link where a fan made a million bucks (Canadian) for making a field goal at halftime.

Amazingly he missed kicks from 20, 30 and 40 yards for smaller prizes, but made a 50 yard kick for the big prize.

Pure craziness.

Reminds me of a promo the Minnesota Thunder used to do with a local BMW dealership. They called it boot for the beamer. From the PK spot, you had to shoot the ball 3 times. One time you had to hit the left post. Another shot off the crossbar. And a third off the right post. If you did that, you won the car.

You would think it was harder to hit the post then put it in the goal, but of course if you TRYING for the post, it becomes a much more difficult target.

One time at a pointy ball game we watched the kicker attempt a field goal and hit the goalpost and the home crowd groaned. My buddy said they should give more points for hitting the post since it's more difficult target.
