It would be nice if we had a song that the whole stadium could sing as the players walked out, ala Anfield with You'll never walk alone.

I tried to write one earlier, but I didn't like anything I tried.

The whole stadium will never do anything together unless we can get our act together and present it to them. All they know how to do is cheer after a goal is scored.

But when and what should we do?

Should we end even the losses that way? I guess it wouldn't hurt...necessarily

(the above quote was taken from another thread)

Merrill, I like the idea of a "streamer salute" after every game, win or loose. And since coach frowns upon us throwing streamers durring the game it makes sense for everyone to throw at the same time at the end. Maybe in addition to the end of the game we could even throw at the end of the first half.

Those streamers that I had brought to the Chivas game were about 30 ft long but I think more like 40 ft is better. Those 30 footers where just alittle bit too short, 40 feet should be perfect.

I buy my rolls at "Zurchers" party supply in Riverdale. A small roll which is 81 ft long is $.49. They sell larger rolls for $2.50 but I can't remember how much you get, if I can remember I think they are 350 ft. So the bigger roll is a better deal.

The smaller roll is easy though because you just roll out about half and you have 40 feet.

I like rolling the streamers because really it is therapy for me at work. I sit in front of a computer all day with a headset and talk to people. So when they are going off or borring the hell out of me instead of flipping the computer off I just sit there and roll streamers. People at work tell me that when I retire I should move to Cuba and roll cigars.

Should we get ourselves one of these, and somebody to stand on it to lead the cheers?

What other things can we do at time specific moments in the game?

I was thinking we could find ourselves a time in which everyone holds up their scarf. I believe Czar Jake called it the Sciarpata or something like that, I'm no Italian. But it would be cool if we coordinated, so we could look like this:

What about cheering a certain cheer as they intro the other team, like "Welcome to Rice-Eccles, boys" or "You've come a long way." One of my favorite moments of the season was Trumpetman's rendition of "Taps" during the intro to the Gals early in the season.

I also thought it would be cool if we had a particular time in which we all threw a streamer, aside from when goals are scored. They look better when they all come at once. Maybe at kickoff or at halftime.

When and what? Any ideas?

I dont really know what you do in your stadium when the team enters.
So we are doing this:

or this:

We're mostly doing flag waving and drum beating. Although, there are so few people in the stadium when the team enters. In Utah, as in most places in the US, people never arrive for anything until it's half over.

this is an enter the stadium thing then. Forgive my inexperience. I think we need to make it a new fixture.

That is on the table still for E38 next season, I believe. We tried to do it in E30 this season and were told by the FO that there was not enough room on the field.
