Powerball

If you were to win the $340 million jackpot in the powerball drawing, what would you do with it?

I suppose you give about half as taxes, which leaves $170 million.

Personally, I would buy the San Jose Earthquakes, and build them a privately financed stadium. I'd like to save the Wizards too, but I couldn't likely afford it for both. If it turned out to be cheaper than I expected, I might actually do that after all. Having spent years as an Earthquakes fan, they definitely take priority.

I'd save some money that I could use to live it up for the rest of my life as well. There'd be plenty left over. $170 million is a lot of money.

Speaking of the Earthquakes. What do you think is going to happen to them? In your opinion. I am kind of becoming a fan of that DDR. We should pick him up if their team goes under.

I have an old Earthquakes cling around here that got taken off when I put the Real one up last year. I think I'll cheer for them in the playoffs this year.

YES!
I want DeRo as well... I wanted him last year when he tried out for Forest... He was not on the Expansion draft list cos his contract had expired and he was in Europe trying out for teams there.

I say if we can get him... let's do it.

If anything the Quakes franchise will just move somewhere else if they don't stay in San Jose. Current ending place is Houston, but who knows.
In any case, DeRo will be with the Quakes unless Kinnear goes nuts and is willing to trade DeRo for Mathis.

Personally, I'd walk up to Uncle Dave and say: RSL Punk Stadium. Here's my check.

What will the league do with the defending champs? After SJ wins their 3rd star, will the league just ship them out? They will be hot on the heels of DC as the leagues legendary team. It makes me wonder. I really hope they can manage to keep them in NorCal at least.

Rumor has it that the USMNT is playing a friendly in SAN FRAN in Feb against Japan.

Where in San Fran could they play?
Monster Park?
