The reserve division standings consist of a single table with the team that finishes in first place at the end of the regular season earning the title of reserve division champions. If the reserve division can crown a champion that way, why can't the senior sides crown a champion that way? Why the need for playoffs?

Because playoffs make more money.

Wow. I thought our reserve squad was doing better than the standings show. But look at Dante Washington!! One of the "league" scoring leaders!

Our reserve team rocked. Right before the last game I think they were in 3rd or 4th place, somehow there were a whole bunch of games around the leauge after their last that ruined it though. 😛

Yeah didn't we have an 7 game winning streak? I believe 7 is more than 5 is it not?

I think that the streak was a 7 game non-losing streak. I think there were a few ties in there somewhere.

I don't know where this 7 is coming from, maybe they're counting the non-MLS games too, like the BYU game. Because they did have a 5 game non-loosing streak with MLS teams.
