Ellinger interview 10/11

Hatch gets more excited over goal calls, DJ had a dog game to call. Why was Andy motm instead of Jamie, he did the work.

SJ game - PK giving Ellinger crap "if this guy would have coached this well all season...

I though we were going to get a third one - glimpse of potential, hopefully the last time we play there. Field is short - home field advantage for SJ

DJ was surprised by final score after hearing earlier score. Surprised by road effort.
Both had players missing
fight on road - unusual for the season given up too many after earler goals

first goal was bad luck, typical maybe offside
2nd stupid and close to half time we played hard unlucky

subs helped

Crapids coming up they have chance at 3rd
trying to find out what RMC tiebreakers are - away goals 2 - 0 gives us RMC we are shooting for it

fan appreciation night team and player awards or something

stadium in Sandy how long will it take? mid 2007 to 2008 hoping for 2007 at least we get some home games rather than 10 road in a row should be ok with RES lease

don't care where - want a home , practice facilities think fields are part of the stadium, but perhaps not initially

Chargers crap Yankees crap

What after the finale, exhibition against Chivas reserves match first against Hispanic league all stars

Healthy players will play Broome out, Dunny surgery

Been invited to Spain for preseason next year also Chile with Catholica

players get mid - November through Jan. off

PS Sorry, my shorthand sucks

The Galaxy did not have their games broadcast in English until 2000.

(2001? Help me out here, Rover.)

The first time a Galaxy player was on an English language morning drive time radio show was 2002? (Again, I need a hand here, Rover.)

I haven't got a clue, which means you must be absolutely right. I'd long since given up on local English-language radio realizing we even had a team.

Yes Dunny is having shoulder surgery in the post season. He will not be playing on the 28th. but he will be back in plenty of time for next season.

WOW--this is surprising or maybe just to me. Thanks, Deuce for the update.
