I wanted Downtown... BUT it is going to Sandy. Oh well we have MLS and we are getting a stadium. I suppose with every silver lining there is a touch of grey!

I can't wait to see the stadium drawings...

You keep making references that make you seem old Deuce.

I still can't wait to see the stadium drawings (especially if they are different from the originals for downtown)

Sounds to me like Sandy is for Flags now.

It could be worse. We could be busted on Bourbon Street.

Fox, before the Home Depot Center opened, Carson was known primarily for violent gangs and oil refineries.

Now, Drew Carey and Heather Mitts hang around there on a somewhat-regular basis.

With people as stunningly good looking as the Loyalists, the Jesters and the Cavaliers in Sandy; Sandy will become cooler than Harry O's and Ciseros put together at the peak of Sundance.

One other detail for Prime (Prime, I have to work out child care arrangements but I should be able to call you from the game; so send me your number), KC, Rover and other Mission Field RSL fans:

Sure, you can read the story on the Des News' or the Trib's website.

But the story was on A1 of the Des News and the headline in the Trib was in type the size normally reserved for winning an Olympics bid or finding Elizabeth Smart.

Oh well, I guess I'll get over it. We're getting a stadium!

Cool. But next time I'll be able to see it for myself.

Why? Soon, we shall be exiles no more. Don't know how well this will be received, but the Rover Family will be moving to Utah in a month or so. Everyone except Rover himself, who still has some commitments to the Marine Corps for awhile longer.

So get ready, we're coming up. Already bought a house. Where?

Sandy, Soccertown. ⚽

There are very few good restaurantes in the valley.

NONE of them are in Sandy.
