What is great about RSL.org

I was thinking about what makes this board great is that we all get some great insider info on RSL here. For example, I knew that Jason Kreis tore his ACL before it was even reported in the press. I can find out when RSL practices are and attend practice. Apparently, I wasn't a member of the board at this time, someone also told all of you that the name of the team would be Real Salt Lake before it was officially announced.

I also like that there are so many different opinions and great insights. I appreciate Deuce's photos, Areillus' news links, Stuki's insights, SoccerPrime's insights. I also appreciate the cRapid fans that come here and bring the smack, it makes this board less homogenous.

I hope this board will remain a great board, thanks to everyone that makes it great. If I didn't mention someone, it's not because you don't make it great, it's because there are just too many of you that make it great.

I'm with you on this one. For someone who doesn't live in the Salt Lake area and can't make any of the games, I look forward to reading everyone's take on the game the next day. So many of the other boards are nothing more than "bit***" sessions. If you want information, pics, team reports, this is the place to be. I even enjoy the reports from the Reserve games. It's nice to hear about the up and coming players. I'm rather sad the season is winding down, but look forward to next year.

I love the board (just check out my post count).

As a RSL Exile, I cannot attend the games. So I must rely on this message board to feed my socio-interactions that I do not get from watching the matches with my 3 year old and 6 month old at home.

GO RSL.org!

For your information, the press gets some of their stories from this board...

What can I say? We all have our reasons for participating in this board, but Exiles in particular depend on it for news and camaraderie.

Otherwise, why would we put up with you guys? 😉
