Besagno

With the U-17s losing, will Besagno rejoin the team this week? Does that mean we might see him this weekend and in the final games?

His ankle will be the determining factor. Usually an ankle sprain like that takes a few weeks to recover. Can't imagine why Ellinger would use him if his ankle needs time to heal...maybe against DC...he's scheduled to sign interviews with Adu afterwards.

Yeah, those are nasty injuries. Been there done that myself more than I'd like to account for. Anyhow, I hope he recovers quickly!

Elinger might as well play his reserves for the rest of the season, after all, RSL is eliminated from the playoffs, what else is there to lose? I also remember a friendly match against Catolica where RSL was down 2-0 at the half and Elinger put in his reserves and RSL came back and won 3-2. What's it going to hurt? (except maybe Nik's ankle.)

Actually, RSL could still win the Rocky Mountain Cup, so I guess there is something left to play for, but that's about it.

I was just at practice, and it looks like Nik is back. I didn't ask about his ankle, but I assume he's traveling with the team tomorrow.
