True, it could be anyone.

I think it's safe to say though that whoever it is, they know already they are going #1 to RSL. It's not too much of a surprise that RSL knows who they will pick, they have the first one so they have as much time as they want to make that decision.

A guy over on BS went to the trouble of doing a mock Super Draft for us all!

Even if you don't agree with the guy... the work he obviously put into it is Very impressive...

Zman rocks. I think his and the Hunter Park mock drafts are very good.
After reading the DN article though, I wonder if RSL might trade the #1 pick...

There is some very small debate about the comment Pastorino made in this article and another article recently...

The question raised is about the "World Class Goalkeeper" comment.
Some people are questioning whether this was a slip of the tongue, because they don't regard DJ Countess as a world class keeper!

Initially the Kasey Keller rumors started up again but I think that has been put to rest with BBC Reporting he is going to a Bundesliga team, Borussia Moenchengladbach.

Anyone have any other thoughts about the "slip of the tongue"? Or even Kasey Keller if you like!

By now you have probably seen the chat from Coach E.

He says that Countess will be our #1 Keeper and that there have been no more discussions with Keller. He also said that RSL will not trade their #1 pick.

At the event, fans will have the opportunity to meet the No.1 pick as well as RSL goalkeeper D.J. Countess. There will also be an opportunity to purchase Real Salt Lake merchandise and ticket packages for the 2005 RSL season, which kicks off Saturday, April 2 in New York against the MetroStars.

On the way home, I was listening to Locura Por El Futbol. There was an ad for this event, but it did not mention anything about any RSL players.

Maybe they figured that the fans in my old neighborhood would not care about MLS players?

Or maybe we have already traded our pick?
