God, I really want to win this one badly. Not only to extend their non-win streak at PHP but also because Chivas was just there a couple weeks ago and walked out with a tie. And if they lose this, they'll tie Chivas for the longest streak of league games without a win this year. The nice thing is that Ruiz has been scoring and FC Skirt Hoops still haven't been winning. Clarke's been desperate in his selections to try to shake things up and that hasn't worked either. Time to pour some salt in the wound!

Keep in mind that Melvin Tarley will likely play 90 minutes for Minnesota against the Galaxy on Wednesday (four days before this match.) I don't know if Ellinger will decide that this means he needs a rest or not. I'd doubt it as in the USL you often play back-to-back games.

This is great! If the Burn^H^H^H^H FC Dallas win, that gets FSL that much closer to elimination. If FSL wins, that gets the Rapids that much closer to passing Dallas in the standings. A win-win all the way around for the Rapids... 🕺

Why would Tarley be playing for the thunder? Isn't he on loan to us, meaning he's not playing for them anymore? He doesn't do double-duty does he?

One of the stipulations of being loaned to RSL was that he be free to play for the thunder in their remaining US Open Cup matches. So yes he is playing double-duty.

Ya, I still don't know how this one isn't causing the bureaucrats in FIFA's HQ to go bezerk.

Just to clarify, Tarley is not on loan, he is a signed bonifide Real Salt Lake player. It was a mistake on the part of The Trib and The News to say he was on loan, one that they corrected a few days later. But he is our player and yes as a part of the deal they get to play him in their remaining Cup games and also a deal was done to have a game against us played there in MN next year, or we can choose to pay cash to get out of it. But Tarley is not on loan, thankfully he is ours, all ours, <evil laugh>

😳

RSL playing the Thunder next year in an exhibition? Or was the deal to get RSL back there for the Open Cup again since they had so much pullin' off that win this year in the USOC?

😳

OK, now that's funny. I don't think I could deal with that stadium - I use that term loosely - again. But the fans were great, really loud and well organised. It will if anything be an exhibition, although I can't imagine them wanting to go back unless they are out of the cup.
