Meeting?

Are we going to get together for a meeting? I know Nov 9 was tossed around but that's getting awfully close if no emails have been sent out yet. I think there are some things we could use a meeting for: Get settled on our logo situation, hear any news from the Loyalist leaders, start taking dues, etc...

What's the status Loyal1?

I think it's a situation of the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing. Dysko Dave and I have not coordinated like you could have. He's in love; getting married. I'm sure I have a few issues too.

Let's make it official. The meeting will happen on Tuesday November 9th. The Institute is across the street from RES. 7:30pm. It is easiest to enter from the west end of the building.

Be Loyal. Be there.

I hope people are ok with this. The date of the meeting was publicized about 6 weeks ago. Across from the stadium (and free) is about as central as can be.

Is there anybody from Utah Valley who would like to carpool? We need at least three people, because I'm just weird enough to not want to make conversation with a stranger all the way up to SLC and back alone. :D

I'll email the "crew". Hopefully we can get some turn out for this, although it would have massively helped if we knew time/location earlier than 3 days before.

I will include a note for anyone traveling from utah county to email Jules. Good?

Well the meeting came off, and I was there. But here's a suggestion for next time. Please be a little more specific about where we're meeting. That's a big building. I walked all over both floors..and I asked at the information desk (she didn't know where it was either)...then I found out there was a lower floor and stumbled onto the meeting.

So please, next time leave a note, or message, or something at the information desk.

I agree. I noticed yesterday, here and on the BS, a lot of discussions about where to park and that you might get lost if you went to the wrong side etc...
Remember not everyone reads these boards 24/7.
When we setup meetings at the last minute, we set ourselves up for these kind of problems.
However I do have to say that Dave and Glenn are doing a great job. Perhaps there is someone with more time on their hands that could help setup future meetings (unless we finally have a permenant home).

Yeah. Now that I know where it is, I'll be able to find the next meeting, no sweat. Just let us know what room, or leave a message at the desk.
