Wonder which will open first, Commerce or Sandy?
They do have a month headstart on us.

Especially in our age of gas prices, the last thing we need is another "destination" location.
I sympathise with those who want it wherever is soonest, but putting it in Sandy is a mistake. I won't pretend to be happy about a stadium in such a place.

that means I would have to come downtown...park..get my kids on the train....um....no thanks....I still want the stadium downtown. I'll be at the games no matter what, but it will be a pain in my butt if its in Sandy.

Please take this offensively:
You people who are whining about having to travel ALL the way to Sandy are BABIES. Waaahh, waaaah, waaahhh. There. I said it.

Way to miss the point. It has NOTHING to do with driving all the way to Sandy. The problem is that putting it there follows an outdated model of development That depresses our quality of life and robs the stadium and the surrounding area of its full potential. Sandy is a poor location for so many reasons. None of them concern my own personal travel distance. Which, by the way, is several thousand miles.

The Sandy location is just bad, that's it. Travel or no Travel. Real SALT LAKE, not Real SANDY...Remember?
