If I had a million dollars

I was thinking about this on the drive home yesterday. If I had a million dollars and could only spend it only on soccer, what soccer fantasy would I live out?

$1 Million isn't enough to build a soccer specific stadium, so I wouldn't be able to build a stadium for RSL, but that would definitely be a dream of mine. One thing I would definitely do is travel to all of Chivas' games and root against them. I would be sure to get seats right behind their bench for every game and heckle them until they decided to fold. But then again, that might conflict with being able to see RSL games.

I would definitely like to see a World Cup Championship game in person, that would be the ultimate soccer dream and I could afford that on $1 Million. I would also like to see a game in Maracana stadium in Rio.

I'm sure I'll think up some others. What are some of yours?

BUT...since it has to be soccer only, IF I had a million, I would make sure that you got to see as many games as you wanted, where you wanted to. If it was in Rio, then you and I would go to Rio. I would get you a closet full of you favorite jerseys, or whatever.

World Cup 2006 and 2010 for me and the fam (extended fam too), and live it up! That should pay for the extended time away from work, tickets to all the US games, pluse dozens of others. I'd have to ship back all of the soccer stuff I would buy there. If there were enough money, I could also provide trips and tickets to as many US supporters as wanted to go, that way the US would have some significant support, and would look more impressive on the world stage!

anyway I think I would definitely be in Germany and South Africa for the World Cups... all USA and England matches... with 25 of my closest friends
