CABRERA & SCARLETT CLEARED & READY R-E-A-L DUTY

RSL DF Gustavo Cabrera and DF/MF Robert Scarlett have been cleared by the U.S. Immigration and are both eligible for play on Saturday, August 20 against the San Jose Earthquakes. Cabrera, 25, began his professional soccer career with famed Central American club Comunicaciones in 1995 and has spent 10 seasons with the team, scoring eight goals and adding five assists. The left-sided and central defender has been a member of the Guatemalan National Team since 1999, anchoring the team’s defense during the past six years. Scarlett is one of an emerging crop of attacking Jamaican defenders whose speed, skill and ability to carry the ball quickly along the flanks pose problems for opponents. The left-footed defender began his career with Harbour View FC when he was 12 years-old, notching 21 goals and 53 assists in nine seasons. Scarlett spent a brief three-month stint during the 2003 season with Russian giant Spartak Moscow, and was part of that season’s UEFA Champions League roster.

All three are eligible. I Think Scarlett will be the starter and Gregorio will be a sub.
Cabrera is eligible but I think coach will give him more time to rest his injury

Yes, watching practice it kind of looks like Scarlett is starting... However it looks as if Dunny will not be. Not for sure, just observation.

Wait, Cabrera or Scarlett? Looks like Scarlett's hair is more notable so perhaps you meant him?

Scarlett's hair is pretty neat.

But I really was talking about Cabrera. I've always wanted long hair myself, so I think its cool.

Lol, I like Scarlett's better than Cabrera's, but hey, that's just me.

Okay, so besides their hair... is there anything interesting about these guys? They are both defenders... so who is getting bumped? Dunseth? Pierce? Pope???? Will they split time with Broome? Just wondering what anybody else thinks. I speculate that they'll cover for Pierce until he's healed up nice and well and substitute in until they get starting spots.

Just my thoughts.

And yes, I think Scars hair is sahweeettt.
