RSL vs. K.C. Photos [R] 8-12-2005

Here's the link to my photos of the tailgate party and the game:

My impressions of the game; we were really hurting without Mathis in the middle. We played like we were tired and didn't start playing until Cila scored but then it was too little, too late. Kreis hitting his 100th career goal was the highlight of the game. Congrats Jason! It's time to lick our wounds and recover because we've got to knock Colorado out of the playoffs and take their place. Jason was my man of the match with Cila and Countess as close seconds.

One other observation: The officiating tonight was horrid. The MLS really needs to do something about these refs.

I was looking for the listen to 1280 thread, but I'm too lazy to find it. Did anyone else hear Hatch's interview with Jordan Cila? Cila actually asked Colorado to transfer him to SLC. I thought that was cool. I'm assuming it was so he could play with Kreis (they both went to Duke), but I could be wrong.

Did he not get along with someone on Colorado's team? Maybe he just wanted out of there... Or maybe his gf lives here!!! Lol, just kidding! My guess is he didn't like Colorado though.

Yeah, that John Denver guy is full of crap! (Sorry, I couldn't resist the Dumb and Dummer quote). Let me ask you this - would you want to play for a team called The Crapids?

Jordan Cila was

one of Coach E's 17s.
Dj, Landon, Damarcus Beasley, Cutler, Trembly, Akwari, Oguchi Onewey who is heading for Manchester United, Beckerman and a few more made it to 4th in the world!
All of Coach E's former players want to play for him. The new guy, Adolph Gregorio, is no stranger, he was on the team also.

I had a hunch but I wasn't possitive he WAS one of the U-17s so I didn't want to say anything and make myself look like a total fool. It makes sense that they all want to play for their former coach though.
