News from the Wrong Side of the Rockies Don't know if any of you read rapidsfan.com at all, but it's well done and always amusing.
Top story right now is that Diego Serna has been seen around Denver. For MLS old timers, that name is about as welcome as Ariel Graziani. We'll see what happens. Also, to sample, here's a gem on the site from a description of the CRapids 2-0 win over LA (warning--multiple and randomly used metaphors gratuitously abused): "From the opening whistle, Colorado charged at their opponents like hungry lions. They were unrelenting in their movement both on and off the ball, on attack as well as defense. The rapids smelled something in the air and were hungry for it: the scent of fresh meat on the LA back line, the redolence of rookies; the incense of impotence and fragrance of futility; perhaps the perfume of the playoffs, the “Eau d’ October, with the scent of Salt Lake beckoning from below. Never mind the reason. The bouquet was beautiful." Gotta admire the creativity. Writing of this kind encouraged. Any ideas on what a scent of Salt Lake might be? __________________

I think the local weather men refer to that as "Lake Stink". It rolls into my neighborhood often.
