It almost sounds like he's saying, "Give me my way or I'll leave." He's a good player, I wonder if MLS will try to talk him out of leaving.

Hmm, I don't know how I feel about that. I don't think that anyone here will argue with the fact that the referees in MLS aren't exactly great. I think that Guevara's attitude of if I don't get the call I want then I will retaliate and be bitter when I get carded for retaliation is a BIT misguided. It isn't good to lose a player like Guevara for a reason like this, but in some sense if this is his attitude I am not sure how much I care. I guess we can hope that the league will wake up a bit about some of the refereeing decisions and suspension decisions (of which we have had plenty).

I think that all players are feeling like this but I don't hear anyone but Guevera and angry fans...
Maybe Guevera should just shut up and play.

You don't hear Cletus saying oh that ref was crap or he is going to leave cos he got fined and suspended for less than what Guevera got carded for...

Oh well the last thing this league needs is another cry baby... let him go somewhere else... he will come back eventually hopefully somewhat more humble!

It should be interesting how the league handles this. Granted his red was the result of a second yellow. I was with a group who watched the game last night and we noticed that it took him awhile before he left the field. He kept yapping at folks. Wasn't this one of the infractions they fined Cleetus for, not leaving the field immediately. I guess this is another example of a player's reputation on the field catching up to them.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't there been rumors about him leaving MLS for about a year now?

He's obviously looking for a change, and I'm glad he said something about the quality of the officiating, especially in light of yesterday's ruling. Maybe the league MVP's opinion will have some effect, though I doubt it.

He Armando signed a new 4 year deal this past year. However he did say he would rather go back to Honduras. I know its his native land, but why?

Kind of weird. If he is as talented as we think he is, why doesn't he take his superior skills to Europe or a bigger club in South America?
