I hear ya

For some reason when RSL has won I have taken it for granted that the CRapids would lose. But the haven't! From what I have read Cannon is playing the lights out and Cunningham is on a scoring streak. I guess the real ground gaining RSL will make is in the head to head games. Plus we still have a game in hand...

But yeah them not losing when I have expected it has been lame!

To be fair, LA couldn't beat the Sandy AYSO Division 2 All-Stars if they weren't playing at the HDC.

At least we have an excuse for sucking on the road.

Dang. I wonder what'll happen with the Rocky Mountain Cup. I'd really love to win that one. And mostly because it's our own chance at playoffs... beating Colorado...

I've found through many years of following sports is that you can never rely on anyone to beat an opponent for you. You have to take care of your own games and sometimes hopefully will be lucky with a favorable result in another match. We simply will have to take care of the Rapids when we play them the next 3 meetings. (And beat a lot of other teams along the way.)

This constant thorn that is the Craps will become great drama down the line if it continues.

Just think, with the last 3 out of 6 matches against the Craps, with playoffs and RMC on the line, it will be intense!

Great stuff!
Of course, I would rather RSL just win every game until then and have Craps go down in a tailspin, you can't have everything. 🙂

RSL makes up the one game difference with the Rapids this Wed. against New England. Colorado doesn't play that day, so RSL has to get their first win on the road this season against the best team in the east. By doing so RSL will only be 2 pts out of fourth.

Good luck RSL!!! We need 3 pts!

So our best chance to catch up with Colorado is against New England.... minus Clint (All Hail Cletus)... minus Jason (98 goals in the back of the net)... against, as I said before, New England. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has contemplated the term "revenge" being used against us. Losing to the team that lost to Chivas (twice) has gotta be on their minds and I have a feeling they will make this a physical and more-than-uber competitive game. Bring it on.

Update on Kreis. He is listed as "probable" for Wednesday's match.
