I have a selfish reason not to want Kreis to break 100 on Saturday... I won't be there!
😢

If Kreis scoring two on Wed means that we beat the Rev, I'll be a little sad we missed it in person, but I'll take the win any day. I hope he scores as many as it takes for us to win the game.

Of course, the best thing would be for someone else to do all the scoring against NE and he scores two on Saturday, but I won't complain much if he hits 100 and we win the game.

Something interesting to ponder. Jason has been taking most of our penalties so far this season. Let's say he scores a goal (99th) early on Wednesday, and then very late in the game, with the score tied, we draw a penalty. Does RSL have Jason the potentially game-winning penalty, or have another player take it, attempting to save the potential 100th goal for a home match?

Sort of like when Hank Aaron had tied Babe Ruth's home run record and the Braves sat him for a road game so he could break the record in Atlanta. They got in trouble for that (NBC was upset because the game he missed was their nationally televised Saturday afternoon game) and were ordered to play him in the remaining road games until they returned home.

If the game is on the line, you can bet he's taking the PK. They need the win and they need it bad.

I can't believe we are so confident that we are hoping for Kreis NOT to score 2 goals on Wednesday.

Those RSL fans are so arrogant.
🙂
Its great!
