The 5,000th MLS Goal

On BS a few weeks ago I saw some discussion about the 5,000 MLS goal. Someone was saying that it might fall somewhere around August 6. Does anyone know how many goals away from 5,000 we are? Could it be an RSL goal?!!

Now that would be great! Jason Kreis breaks 100 personally, and 5000 for the MLS! What a celebration that would be! 🕺

Very, very good chance that the 5,000th happens with RSL-Chivas.

Current goal tally: 4,998. Next game: RSL-Chivas.

C'mon Jason!

Just wondering, how did you find out the current total?

And I think this would be awesome!! I think we can do it, and it's a great little record to have.

I love how we have the first game of the day on the 6th, this gives us a VERY good chance of being the team to get this!!

It will happen. I seriously doubt that the game will result in less than two goals. Hopefully it comes with another DJ clean sheet.

There's this new big huge database of networked information available to the general public now. Some are calling it the "Internet".

:kid: j/k

I think I pulled it from either mlsnet somewhere or maybe bigsoccer, then it was repeated again in the chat yesterday.
