Section name

We need to come up with a name for the section of seats where the supporters group sits, a la Section 8 in Chicago. I think that we need to start coming up with a few ideas and then get together with RCB and decide what we want the section to be.

They have already thrown out a couple. My favorite is The Kingdom and then each supporters group could have their own little fiefdom section name.

Others (And I'm not taking credit for any of these. They are all from other sources, but they are too numerous to name.):
The Fortress
The Rampart
Salt Lake Citadel
The Fortress
The Garrison
The Stronghold
Real Rampart
the Acropolis
The King's Lair
The Royal Annex
The Royal Region
Region Real
The Cave
The Den
The King's Corner

I know that we have discussed this before, but we really need to officially decide on this.

I like "The Citadel" or "The King's Keep", or "The Dungeon". "The Kingdom" is OK, but kind of namby-pamby - although the benefits of using it to subsect fiefdoms is a cool idea. Is there another term we could use that allows the same type of benefits in word usage, but sounds cooler than "The Kingdom"?

Here are the entries from the thesaurus about Kingdom:

commonwealth, country, county, crown, division, domain, dominion, dynasty, empire, field, lands, monarchy, nation, possessions, principality, province, realm, reign, rule, scepter, sovereignty, sphere, state, suzerainty, sway, territory, throne, tract

Any of those sound better?

I'd vote for the following, in order:

1. The Citadel

2. The Fortress

3. The Rampart

4. The Keep

"Kingdom" isn't bad either, but I lik the idea of the curve being a focus of effort, like the others listed. "Kingdom" implies the whole thing, and we're on the, well, rampart.

Militarily speaking, that's the place we should be, considering we're defending the kingdom from there.

One footnote: I believe the Revs primary Supporters Club (The Midnight Riders) call their section "The Fort."

Good points Rover. I like those as well, but perhaps Keep above Rampart, and now that you put it that way, I don't like "Dungeon" as much.
