Unless, of course, Chevron is paying you guys a pretty penny for using your name in their marketing efforts, in which case you guys are just brilliant beyond belief and I should shut up.

Are you calling me a kiss-up? Huh? Huh?
Let's just assume we're brilliant and leave it at that.

So far, the "rally scarf" has worked pretty well for me. If we're behind at the half, or not playing so well, I turn it over. Worked on the Catolica game, and sorta at the Galaxy game (I mean, we did score a goal and didn't LOSE, so...).

Hey Dadof8, good thread. I thought maybe I was the only one superstitious.

I have two superstitions. I first used to wear a certain pair of Adidas at the beginning of the season. We played well but the luck seemed to run out of those shoes. For the past two games I've been wearing a pair of black Sketchers (Aero has the same shoes too) and the team has played better. So I will wear these shoes until the luck seems to run out, then I'll go back to the Adidas since they have probably had time to regenerate their good luck.

And second, the last couple of games I've been stopping at Baskin Robbins there on 4th south (or is it 5th south?) before the game and I get one scoop of regular chocolate.

And if Baskin Robbins runs out of luck, try Coldstone or Dairy Queen. :signcheer

I wore my Loyalists T-shirt to all the early home games, and we won them all. Then I got myself a Jersey, wore it, and Chicago pulled us to pieces. The next game I wore a flag T-shirt in honor of the Nats, and Dallas took us apart. So when the 22nd came around, I wore my loyalists T-shirt again. We didn't lose. Interestingly enough though, I've worn my Loyalists T-shirt everytime we played on Turf, and not when we played on that Grass stuff. So there could be other factors than just my shirt.

πŸ•Ί DadOf8 told me that I needed to post that Real was gonna win tomorrow. Reason? Because he beat Metro Stars twice on Fifa πŸ•Ί

Superstition... When I wear a hat in the press box we win or tie... when I don't we lose.

The opposite it true of Iggy's...
